Such beautiful blending! I envy this one- it is beyond brilliant! Although a bit creepy, I feel as though I could live in this picture...and feel right at home! Quiet, unusually dark, with not a person in sight, just a doll which does appear to have quite a personality.

At times - have to do something on the darker side, though have found it hard to delve to far in that direction... and have had the stock image of the doll for a while and couldn't figure out what to use it in, however, been watching a television program about how the world would progress without man... and saw some towns, for one reason or another that had to be abandoned, and this clicked...

Think there is a melancholy feel, more then actually dark brooding to this, a "left behind and moved on" instead of - the day the bomb fell type of thing...

I agree- I wouldn't file this one as "dark" necessarily, it is moody that's for sure.

Oh- were you watching LIFE AFTER PEOPLE??? If so- I love that series, it's amazing the way they digitally created abandoned cities and towns. Nature takes over in no time...and domestic cat's begin to rule... :)

I think they do! They sure know how to survive. I heard once that in the event you die in your house...your cat(s) will begin to consume you, (if there is no other food source) usually starting at the fingers/toes. In the same scenario a pet Dog will starve to death.

Sometimes...
I think my cats are thinking - that they don't want to wait, but then, I also have a dog, that is loyal and keeps them from acting out there heinous plots.
